Mother-Daughter Event:

Mother-Daughter Science Event!  Mothers and daughters are invited to join the Walder Science Center, either on Sunday July 29th at 10am, or on Tuesday July 31st at 7pm, for some exciting experiments on chemical precipitation, including silver plating a flower vase through a chemical reaction with real silver!  Each mom is invited to bring with them up to two daughters in grades 1-6.

Cost: $10 per family.

Location: Walder Science Center, 3050 W. Touhy Ave (Albany Side of Cong. Adas Yeshurun) in the Science Lab

Science Carnival:  On Sunday January 7th 2018 from noon to 4pm, we will hold our annual carnival, filled with exciting exhibits, projects, and shows for the whole family.  Save the date.  No preregistration is required!

Solar Eclipse 2017: Stop by the Walder Science Center (3050 W. Touhy Ave.) between 1 and 2pm on Monday August 21st to learn about the Eclipse, to view it safely, and to participate in activities for children and adults.  Email us at programs@walderlab.org for questions.   No preregistration is required.

Mother-Daughter Science Night: Mothers and daughters (grades 1-6) are invited to participate in an evening of science exploration and experimentation Wednesday September 13 from 6:30-7:45pm entitled Deconstructing Challah: the Science of Bread.  The cost to participate is FREE for those who preregister.  It will cost $4 at the door.  To register, please email programs@walderlab.org.  Write Mother-Daughter in the subject line, and include contact email and phone number, and the grade level and school your daughter attends.
